Ahsan Qamer Sheikh

Ahsan Qamer Sheikh is a Planning Engineer for Rail Infrastructure at Ramboll Deutschland GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. He specializes in the planning and design of large-scale, complex infrastructure systems and transportation networks across Germany. He holds a Master’s degree in Infrastructure Planning from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
In addition to his professional role, Ahsan is actively engaged in community service and technology management. He has been a member of IEEE for over 12 years and currently serves as Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals (YP) Germany Section. In recognition of his contributions and leadership, he is the recipient of the 2025 IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Young Professional Achievement Award. Furthermore, under his leadership, IEEE Germany Young Professionals received the IEEE Young Professionals Hall of Fame Award.
Ahsan is committed to bridging the gap between industry and academia and to expanding networking and professional development opportunities for Young Professionals across the region.
