Alexandre Damiens
Head of Development and Industrial Partnerships for Rare Earths/Magnets Orano
Alexandre Damiens is currently Head of Industrial Partnerships and Development at ORANO, a leading nuclear/energy company, where he focuses on strategic collaborations and growth initiatives in the field of rare earths and magnets. Prior to this role, he spent four years at the French Embassy in the United States, working on energy and climate issues.
Before that, he served for four years in the office of the Prefect of Hauts-de-France, contributing to regional industrial oversight. He also worked for three years at the French Nuclear Safety Authority, where he was involved in regulatory oversight and safety policies. Earlier in his career, he lived in the Middle East while working in the water sector for a French global industry leader.
Alongside his professional activities, he regularly teaches at Institut Mines-Télécom, sharing his expertise with future engineers. He is a trained engineer and a graduate of the École des Mines de Douai.
