Dr. Michael Könen

With a degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.), Michael joined KSB in 2011, managing research projects in the field of drive technology.

Since 2015, he has been actively involved in industry committees and associations, serving as a liaison to key organizations such as EUROPMP, ZVEI and CEMEP.

Michael's work focuses on strategic standardization at international level, particularly within ISO and IEC. Since 2025, he assumes the role of Chairman of Europump's Standards Commission.
