Lóránt is a senior communication consultant and managing partner of DKNrgY Consulting with 20+ years of experience in the energy industry. His focus is mainly on research, development and innovation (RDI), providing support to smart energy enterprises and large-scale European projects – such as TwinEU - to maximize their visibility and impact through communication and networking. Previously he worked for the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) in Brussels, facilitating the development of the 10-year RDI Roadmap of the European TSOs, in line with the related EU policy goals. He got involved in the TSO business earlier acting as the Head of Communication of the Hungarian transmission system operator MAVIR. At CWIEME he is facilitating discussions accross the various players of the electricity value chain, from equipment manufacturers to system operators and policy experts.
