Simon Müller
Director Energy Transition Catalytics
Simon Müller is a leading expert on electricity grids and the energy transition, with over a decade of experience shaping power-sector policy in Europe and internationally. He served as Director Germany at Agora Energiewende, where he led work on electricity systems, grid infrastructure, heat and overarching energy and climate policy, advising governments in more than 20 countries on the transition to renewable energy systems.
Simon holds a Master’s degree in Physics and has worked at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris, where he focused on power system transformation and energy security. He is widely recognised for his analytical work on renewable integration, power system planning and grid readiness, and regularly contributes to high level policy discussions on the future of electricity networks in Europe and beyond.
