The Call for Papers for the Grid Delivery Summit 2027 is now open. As Europe accelerates investment in its power networks, the question is no longer only what the future grid should look like, but how we deliver it at the speed and scale electrification demands.
The Grid Delivery Summit brings together the organisations that manufacture, supply, build and operate grid infrastructure, creating a dedicated forum for moving the conversation from ambition to execution. If you have research, technology, practical experience or a real-world case study that can help the industry overcome its delivery challenges, we want to hear from you.

Submissions should offer practical insight, new thinking or proven solutions to the challenge of delivering grid infrastructure at scale.

Scaling production of transformers, cables and switchgear, and clearing capacity bottlenecks.

Smart factories, digital twins, predictive maintenance and data-driven productivity.

What to submit
Submit up to two original proposals.
Each should include:
- Focus sector or subject area
- Paper title Abstract, maximum 1,000 words
- Presenter name, job title, organisation, email and phone
Your abstract should cover the challenge, approach, project experience, key findings, measurable outcomes and lessons for the wider grid value chain.
We’re looking for:
- Practical insight: Real world case studies, applied research and clear takeaways.
- New approaches: Technologies and ideas addressing grid delivery challenges.
- Proven impact: Measurable results and lessons others can apply.
- Collaboration: Projects connecting stakeholders across the grid value chain.
- Knowledge, not promotion: Useful insight without product or company pitches.
Submit by 16 October
For questions, contact Alexandra da Fonte Martins. If your proposal is accepted, the Grid Delivery Summit team will be in touch with format details and next steps. Accepted presentations are 30 minutes, including Q&A. The Advisory Board will assess proposals on relevance, originality and practical value.
