Clifford Ondieki is an electrical engineer and MSc candidate specialising in power systems, grid integration, and AI-driven optimisation for modern energy networks. Based in Germany, his work focuses on bridging academic research with real-world industry challenges across transmission, distribution, and e-mobility infrastructure.
Clifford is an IEEE Best Paper Award winner for his research on equitable EV charger deployment using multi-objective geospatial optimisation, combining Python, NSGA-II, and grid-aware modelling to address uncertainty, infrastructure constraints, and access equity. His research has been published in an IEEE peer-reviewed conference and has been shaped by direct engagement with industry professionals.
An active member of IEEE, VDE, and VDI, Clifford is passionate about reducing the gap between emerging engineering talent and industry needs.
