The full agenda for CWIEME Berlin 2026 has been announced. Discover the talks, panel discussions, and presentations that will take place across three days in May.
CWIEME Berlin, the world’s leading exhibition for coil winding, transformer, electric motor, generator and e-mobility technologies, has announced the full agenda for this year’s event. Visitors can now plan around the various sessions and network opportunities, as well as speakers, including wind power pioneer Prof. Henrik Stiesdal and former VP, Siemens Energy in Western Europe, Adam Middleton.
From May 19 to 21 at Messe Berlin, CWIEME Berlin will have a packed schedule, with speakers, discussions and various networking and social events hosted across the three days. This year’s theme is “Where Power Meets Progress”, spotlighting the transformative technologies shaping today’s electrical manufacturing sector and how these are driving a more efficient, resilient and sustainable future. With the full agenda released, visitors can plan ahead of the show and decide which events and discussions to attend.
This year’s show kicks off with a keynote talk on the Central Grid from wind power pioneer Prof. Henrik Stiesdal. The talk will explore advancements in electrical and mechanical engineering and automation, and how these support clean, efficient energy. Over the three days, this will be followed by talks from experts and industry figures, such as Adam Middleton, former VP, Siemens Energy in Western Europe, Dr. Anna Ermakova, senior research associate at the University of Bristol and Matrishvan Raval, head of product at Turntide Technologies.
This year’s show will also include the new Electric Motor Forum, a dedicated platform for industry leaders, innovators, and engineers to explore the future of electric motor technologies across automotive, industrial and energy sectors. There will also be a dedicated Women in Engineering programme, an exclusive Transmission & Distribution Club running throughout all three days, as well as a Future Engineers programme.
“This year’s agenda is packed with technical seminars, programmes, talks and network opportunities – something for everyone,” explained Alexandra da Fonte Martins, senior content manager for CWIEME Berlin. “There’s also a thriving social calendar this year, with our PowerUp Welcome Party on day one, happy hour in the beer garden on day two and our Motor Repair & Maintenance Centre, which we’re hosting in partnership with EASA.
“The launch of the Electric Motor Forum is something I’m particularly excited about,” added da Fonte Martins. “This goes beyond content. It’s a fully integrated hub designed to elevate the motor industry’s presence and boost engagement among visitors – and it’s a welcome addition to this year’s schedule.”
As well as the speaker sessions, attendees will have opportunities to explore the latest technologies and innovations from leading suppliers across the exhibition floor. The event will bring together manufacturers, engineers, designers and procurement professionals from across the global electrical engineering supply chain, creating a space for collaboration, knowledge sharing and business development.
