Business Development Sustainability thyssenkrupp Steel Europe

Fabian Botz is an industrial engineer and is currently driving innovation at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe. In his role as Business Developer for bluemint® Steel - the company's CO2-reduced steel product - Fabian is working on nothing less than the redesign of the steel business model across different industries. 

With a strong commitment to sustainability, thyssenkrupp Steel Europe will commission an innovative direct reduction plant in 2027 that will increase the production of CO2-reduced bluemint® steel to 3 million tons per year.

Fabian's expertise began in the steel industry in 2017 as a technical consultant for the automotive industry with focus on the French market. In this role, he focused on advising OEMs on the sustainable use of materials and the promotion of process and product innovations.
