Taizhou Xinyuan Company was established in 2007. The investor, Taizhou Jinsong Co., Ltd., was formerly the Taizhou Insulating Materials General Factory under the Electrical Bureau of the former Ministry of Machinery. It began producing insulating cardboard in 1973. In the early 1980s, the company successfully developed AC 500kV insulating moulded parts. The company has an independent R&D centre, and its technical and management teams have nearly 50 years of rich experience in the manufacturing and R&D of transformer insulation materials. It has more than ten years of good performance in supplying ultra-high and ultra-high voltage insulation materials, with first-class equipment, excellent management and mature technology. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of paper insulation materials for power transmission and transformation equipment, focusing on the development of a series of products such as insulating cardboard, insulating moulded parts, complete sets of outlet devices and thin insulating paper for ultra-high and ultra-high voltage AC and DC power transmission and transformation equipment, committed to providing high-quality paper insulation products and services for my country's ultra-high-voltage power transmission and transformation industry. The company has received national, provincial and ministerial project support many times. In 2018, it won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award and other honours. In November 2022, it won the national ""Specialized, Special and New"" Little Giant title awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
