Altrove is a material discovery start-up developing alternatives to critical inorganic materials through AI and lab automation—covering the entire process from materials simulation, lab synthesis, and production scale-up. We bridge the simulation-to-lab-to-fab gap by identifying tailor-made alternatives to supply-constrained materials including permanent magnets. Novel materials are simulated, synthesized, and validated in our Paris lab to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements while reducing reliance on rare-earth elements. Beyond discovery, we develop precise manufacturing recipes and process parameters required for reliable industrial-scale production.
