Mr. Schüpferling completed his apprenticeship at the Siemens Technical Academy, graduating with the title “Associate Engineer.” He has over 33 years of experience in the field of gas‑ and air‑insulated medium‑voltage switchgear. Throughout his career at Siemens, he has acquired in‑depth expertise in secondary technology, digitalization, and instrument transformers. In addition, he participates in various CIGRE, CIRED, and IEC working groups. In his current role as Product Lifecycle Manager, he is responsible for innovative projects such as “Smart Ring Main Units” and “Sustainable and Digital Distribution Substations
