Global Marketing Manager Power Systems SYENSQO Specialty Polymers

Roberta Colombo is Global Marketing Manager for Power Systems at Syensqo, leading strategic marketing activities across the full electrification ecosystem around transmission and distribution grids, EV charging infrastructure, and BESS.

With a strong technical background, Roberta works cross-functionally with R&I, application engineering and customers to translate emerging grid and electrification needs into scalable, future-ready material solutions. She collaborates closely with stakeholders across the entire supply chain—OEMs, component manufacturers, system integrators and utilities—bringing a lifecycle-driven approach that connects materials innovation, manufacturing efficiency and sustainability.

Roberta holds an Executive MBA focused on sustainable innovation and two Master’s degrees in Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy). With over a decade at Syensqo, she brings deep expertise in specialty polymers and hands-on experience across electrification applications, including magnet wire insulation, coatings and battery-related materials, bridging technical innovation with market-driven solutions.

Actively engaged in key industry communities and technical forums, Roberta contributes to shaping the dialogue around the future of power grids and electrification. She brings a market-informed, systems-level perspective to the industry, advocating for material and process innovation as a critical enabler of resilient, efficient and sustainable energy infrastructure.
