Javi is from Chile and has lived in Minnesota, USA since 2011. She joined Cargill in May of 2019 as the Global Business Leader for the Power Systems Business which includes Dielectric and Cooling Solutions. She started her career in P&G, followed by 14 years at 3M Company. Through her career, she has served in several roles including Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Business Management at local, regional, and global levels.
Javi is originally a civil hydraulics engineer, and later earned an MPA and MBA from University of Minnesota. She also is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and a SCRUM Master. Her languages include English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Through a more personal lens, she is a mother to Jack (5 years old), Board Member of Feed My Starving Children since 2019 and Chair of Cargill’s Hispanic Latino Council, in addition to Advisory Board Member at CWIEME Berlin 2022. Javi’s interests include Global Economic Development, Public Policy, DE&I, and Sustainability. She also enjoys volleyball, singing, and dancing.

Hassan is the Managing Partner & COO at PTR Inc. based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With more than a decade of experience in the energy transition space, Hassan advises various Fortune-500 and blue-chip clients in the electrical infrastructure sector to sustainably grow their businesses, both through custom consulting work, marketing support services and tailored research reports by PTR, helping their executive management and boards make data driven decisions. Hassan is also a Member of Advisory Board for CWIEME Berlin and MENA EV Show, part of the Executive Editorial Board of APC Media and an advisor to the educational non-profit Better Humans Academy.
Hassan has a tech background with a Masters in Power Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Additionally, he is also an Alumni of Center for Digital Technology & Management (CDTM).

Dr. Adriana Encinas-Oropesa is a Senior Lecturer in Design and Materials at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
Her research focuses on sustainable design and the characterization of materials properties as essential components of the product lifecycle. This work involves understanding how different operating environments affect the lifespan of materials and their connections to people's everyday lives.
With over 15 years of experience evaluating materials' performance and degradation at Cranfield University, Adriana collaborates closely with industry. She has published more than 40 technical papers and has contributed to the development of new British Standards for materials testing.
Adriana obtained her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She also holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, and a PhD in Advanced Materials from Cranfield University.
Adriana is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). She is also a member of the Mexican National System for Researchers (CONACyT - SNI).

Mustafa Seçkin Aydın is a challenger, working for 19 years at thyssenkrupp at different innovation projects to apply flat steel products in automotive, the heavy plate sector, civil and military ballistic protection and nowadays e-mobility.
Today, he is in charge of sales of GOES to the transformer industry in Central Europe as well as the novel topic axial flux motor technology to make the electrical cars by means of thyssenkrupp electrical steels more powerful, efficient and environmental in the whole world.
Taking the slogan of thyssenkrupp Steel #nextgenerationsteel as a basis, he tries to contribute to a better and green world by combining his engineering experiences in research and development, technical customer service, sales armor steel department and electrical steel for the future with the customers and partners together.

Matthew Lamb is an Applications Engineer at Turntide Technologies, specialising in motors and power electronics systems used in the automotive industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow which he earned in 2009.
Matthew joined AVID Technology (now Turntide) in 2013 and has since accumulated over 12 years’ experience in designing and testing power electronics and motors for automotive applications. In addition to this, he also has a strong background in developing manufacturing lines and managing projects funded by Innovate UK.
Matthew’s passion for sustainability has been consistent throughout his career, leading to him driving business sustainability initiatives, including the development of methodologies for calculating CO₂ emissions in alignment with global standards.
This passion led to Matthew embarking on the Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship Master’s at Cranfield University in 2022, focusing his thesis on the circular economy of electrical machines.
Following the completion of his master’s apprenticeship program, Matthew continues to work in both the engineering and sustainability fields and is combining his engineering background with his sustainability knowledge to help drive positive change within this fast paced and dynamic sector.

Roberta Colombo is the Marketing Manager in charge of Electrical Power Grid Opportunities for Syensqo, recent spin-off of Solvay Specialty Polymers.
Roberta holds an Executive MBA focused on sustainable innovation and two masters’ in engineering in Nanotechnology and Materials from Polytechnic of Milan - Italy.
She joined the company 11 years ago in R&I function, after a Post Doc at University of Delaware (USA) and consultancy experiences in the Innovation and Industrial fields. Roberta has extensive experience in both electrification applications (magnet wire, battery binders, coatings) as well as technical expertise in specialty polymers. She has been actively leading new solution development from the final application perspective, going beyond the material science as Application Development Project Engineer and Global Coordinator for Coating and Surface Engineering.
In the current role of marketing manager, she works cross-functionally with R&I to design innovative new products for the next generation of transformers and more widely for electrical machines. Roberta leverages her technical expertise to work directly with the players in the electrical power grid value chain to identify and bring solutions to respond to the growing electrical power demand.
