Helen Watts is the Executive Director of Student Energy, with a network of 50,000 youth in 120 countries who are accelerating a sustainable, equitable energy transition. Helen is a Forbes 30 Under 30 lister, Corporate Knights 30 Under 30, and a recognized clean energy and intergenerational equity advocate. Since 2017, Helen has worked to empower thousands of young people with mentorship, skills training, network and funding access. She co-leads the Solutions Movement, a UN-Energy Compact, and initiated the very first Global Youth Energy Outlook which gathered 41,000 youth perspectives on the energy transition by 2030.
