Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ASTA Energy Solutions AG

Karl Schäcke has been CEO of ASTA Energy Solutions AG since May 2023. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic development of the Group. Mr. Schäcke has more than 30 years of experience in management positions at well-known Austrian companies and in management consulting. As Managing Director in Palfinger AG, COO and CFO of Verbund International France and Managing Director of Rudolfinerhaus Privatklinik, he was able to build up a wealth of international experience. In an advisory capacity, he worked for many renowned clients in the energy sector, among other fields.

Dr. Karl Schäcke was also active as a lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He publishes articles and appears as a keynote speaker at conferences.

Karl Schäcke is a Managing Director and C-Suite Officer with a keen business sense. He has entrepreneurial talent, outstanding operational skills, and a deep understanding of successful business management. He is active in various business areas, has a passion for operational efficiency and a proven track record of cost reduction, rationalisation and growth.
