Dr. Christian Hecht

Head of Quality Control Governance thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel

Dr.-Ing. Christian Hecht is the Head of Quality Control Governance at thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel. Since joining the company in 2011, he has held various key positions, including Research Engineer and Head of Product Development. Since 2020, he has been responsible for Quality Control Governance and Application Technology.

With over a decade of experience in the global steel industry and specialized knowledge in magnetic measurement technology, e-mobility, and transformers, Christian works intensively on novel e-mobility grades and the development of smart grids.

Christian leads interdisciplinary teams and promotes agile working methods to develop innovative solutions for customers and to optimize quality control strategies. 

He holds a degree in Physics and a Ph.D. in Engineering.
