General Manager of the Silicon Steel Business Unit Baosteel (Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.)

Mr. Shen Kanyi is the General Manager of the Silicon Steel Business Unit at Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the company with world’s largest silicon steel production capacity. 

Mr. Shen has made remarkable achievements in corporate management and technological innovation. He has led his team to optimize product structures and achieve multiple global product launches, enabling a more efficient silicon steel power industry chain. 

Additionally, Mr. Shen has driven Baosteel’s low-carbon development in silicon steel, producing low-carbon oriented silicon steel and non-oriented silicon steel with a 30% carbon reduction in 2024. 

This year marks Baosteel’s sixth participation in the CWIEME Berlin, and Mr. Shen will share Baosteel’s practices and achievements in the low-carbon field with us.
